As an Application Developer focused on Application Modernization, you will transform legacy applications into modern, scalable, and cloud-ready solutions aligned with architectural standards and business objectives. You will develop and refactor applications using contemporary programming languages including Java, .NET, Python, Node.js, and JavaScript. Implementing microservices architectures and containerized solutions using Docker and Kubernetes to enable seamless system integration is a core responsibility. You will integrate applications with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, IBM Cloud, and Google Cloud to drive scalability and modernization. The role requires applying DevOps practices and tooling for continuous integration, delivery, and monitoring. Collaboration with architects and consultants to execute modernization strategies and validate technical feasibility is essential. Experience with generative AI integration, legacy code migration from COBOL, RPG, or C++, and RESTful API development is highly valued.
