This role focuses on designing, developing, and maintaining automation frameworks using Python and Robot Framework. You will perform ETL testing including data validation, transformation checks, and end-to-end workflow verification across complex data pipelines.
You will run and monitor scripts and jobs in Unix/Linux environments, ensuring smooth automation execution, and support SQL automation for backend validation, data quality checks, and reporting accuracy. The position involves executing functional, regression, and data validation testing throughout the SDLC.
Working with CI/CD pipelines to automate test execution and deployment workflows is a key responsibility. You will use DevOps tools such as Jenkins, Git, UCD, Helios, and GitHub Actions for automation, job management, and release coordination.
Candidates should have 4+ years of experience in Python development, automation, and data-driven testing. Proficiency in Robot Framework, hands-on expertise with ETL testing and data pipeline validation, strong Unix/Linux experience, and knowledge of data analysis, BI concepts, and QA/QE methodologies are required. Familiarity with JIRA, Confluence, and qTest for project and test case management is expected.
