As an IBM DataStage Developer, you will design, develop, and maintain ETL processes primarily using DataStage, with Talend experience being a plus. You will ensure efficient extraction, transformation, and loading of data from various sources into Big Data and Data Warehouse environments. The role involves working with Linux and Shell scripting as well as SQL and PL/SQL for data manipulation and pipeline optimization. You will collaborate with stakeholders including data modelers and business analysts to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Responsibilities also include optimizing ETL pipelines for performance and scalability, maintaining thorough documentation for processes and system architecture, and troubleshooting code issues. Familiarity with RDBMS platforms like Oracle and Snowflake, data modeling concepts, and working in Agile methodology using JIRA is expected.
