Kafka Engineer

As a Kafka Engineer at Fractal, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining real-time data streaming solutions using Apache Kafka. You will build and manage Kafka clusters, configure topics, partitions, and consumer groups to ensure reliable and high-throughput data pipelines. The role involves integrating Kafka with various data sources and sinks, implementing schema management, and ensuring fault tolerance and scalability. You will work closely with data engineering and platform teams to support event-driven architectures and real-time analytics use cases. You will also monitor cluster health, troubleshoot performance bottlenecks, and implement security best practices for streaming infrastructure.
