Senior Software Engineer - Virtualization Cloud Team

As a Senior Software Engineer on the Virtualization Cloud Team at Red Hat, you will design, develop, and maintain virtualization solutions that power cloud infrastructure platforms. You will work on open-source virtualization technologies such as KVM, QEMU, and libvirt, contributing to projects that enable enterprise customers to run scalable and reliable virtual workloads in cloud environments. Your responsibilities include writing high-quality code, reviewing peer contributions, debugging complex system-level issues, and collaborating with upstream open-source communities. You will also participate in architecture discussions, mentor junior engineers, and help shape the technical direction of virtualization features integrated into Red Hat's cloud product portfolio. A strong understanding of Linux internals, hypervisor technologies, and cloud-native paradigms is expected.
