Staff Software Engineer – AI (Westlaw AI)

As a Staff Software Engineer on the Westlaw AI team at Thomson Reuters, you will play a pivotal role in building and scaling AI-powered features for Westlaw, a leading legal research platform. You will design and implement machine learning and natural language processing solutions that help legal professionals find relevant information faster and more accurately. Your responsibilities include developing production-grade AI/ML pipelines, integrating large language models into existing products, and working closely with data scientists and product teams to define and deliver AI capabilities. You will drive technical strategy, establish best practices for AI engineering, and provide technical leadership across the engineering organization. You will also evaluate emerging AI technologies and recommend their adoption where appropriate.
