Analog Layout Engineer

As an Analog Layout Engineer at Broadcom, you will design and develop physical layouts for analog and mixed-signal circuits used in high-performance semiconductor products. You will collaborate with analog design engineers to understand circuit specifications and translate them into optimized layouts that meet stringent performance, area, and power requirements. Your responsibilities will include floor planning, component placement, routing of critical analog signals, and ensuring compliance with design rules for advanced technology nodes. You will perform parasitic extraction and work with designers to verify that post-layout performance meets target specifications. The role also involves ensuring all designs pass DRC and LVS checks, supporting tapeout activities, and continuously improving layout methodologies to enhance productivity and quality.
