Director of Software Engineering
As a Director of Software Engineering at JPMorgan Chase, you will lead and manage multiple engineering teams to deliver high-impact technology solutions for the firm's business lines. You will define the technical vision and strategy, drive architecture decisions, and ensure alignment with enterprise standards and goals. The role requires overseeing the full software development lifecycle, from design through deployment, while maintaining a strong focus on quality, security, and scalability. You will mentor and develop senior engineering talent, foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement, and collaborate with product management, business stakeholders, and other technology leaders to prioritize and deliver on the roadmap. Additionally, you will be responsible for resource planning, budget management, and driving adoption of modern engineering practices including cloud-native development, DevOps, and agile methodologies.
