About the Role

As an Associate Consultant in KPMG's Managed Detection and Response (MDR) team, you will support the security operations practice by monitoring security events, analyzing alerts, and assisting in incident detection and response. Your responsibilities will include triaging security alerts using SIEM tools, investigating potential threats across network devices, firewalls, endpoints, and other infrastructure components. You will follow established playbooks and procedures for routine security events, assist in threat containment and remediation during incidents, and escalate complex issues to senior analysts. The role involves maintaining detailed shift logs, documenting investigation findings, and contributing to continuous improvement of security operations processes. You will work in a 24x7 rotational shift environment from the Bangalore office and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective incident resolution.
