Consultant

As a Consultant in the financial modelling team, you will support the specification and design of models and analysis tools. You will develop integrated P&L, cash flow, and balance sheet models from scratch, as well as amend models developed by KPMG staff or third parties. The role involves carrying out detailed financial analysis of model outputs, ensuring consistency in client models, and creating and maintaining project documentation and data books. You will perform testing of models following quality control procedures, review models using proprietary software, and provide findings and feedback to clients. You will document the operation of models and raise issues for inclusion in review reports, liaising with project managers to explain key points. Additionally, you will design and execute commercial analyses such as market sizing, market driver analysis, and competitive benchmarking, and develop business cases and business plans underpinned by robust financial analysis to support strategic initiatives.
