As an Assistant Manager - Java Developer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining enterprise-grade user interfaces and backend APIs using AWS cloud services. You will develop front-end applications using React along with HTML and CSS, and build robust APIs using Java and the Spring Boot framework, integrating them within React-based applications.
You will follow microservice architecture principles to containerize applications and work towards hosting them on Kubernetes. The role involves collaborating closely with other engineers to define data engineering best practices and follow SDLC best practices including agile methodologies, coding standards, code reviews, source management, build processes, and testing.
This is an on-site role requiring 5 days a week at the KPMG or client office. You should be self-motivated with strong ownership of problem resolution, comfortable working independently with minimal supervision, and able to multi-task under pressure. Experience working in cloud environments with tools such as Microsoft Visual Studio Code is preferred.
