Manager - AI Engineer
This role involves leading backend and Generative AI development efforts as a Manager-level AI Engineer. You will design and develop RESTful APIs and web services using Python frameworks such as Flask, Django, or FastAPI, implementing modular architectures to build scalable and maintainable backend systems. You will create and maintain database schemas with a strong focus on SQL-based querying and data retrieval, troubleshoot backend issues, and optimize application performance.
On the GenAI side, you will research and integrate state-of-the-art Generative AI models using frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Hugging Face Transformers. You will implement and optimize AI algorithms for natural language processing, image generation, and related domains, ensuring models are scalable and production-ready. Collaboration with data scientists to leverage large datasets for model training is expected, along with thorough testing and validation of AI models for accuracy and reliability.
As a leader, you will mentor a team of developers, set clear goals, delegate tasks, and ensure timely delivery. You will facilitate cross-functional communication, encourage continuous learning, identify potential challenges proactively, and promote best practices in technology and team management. Experience with Azure cloud services, containerization with Docker, Azure OpenAI, and RAG implementations is highly valued.
