Assistant Manager - CSG-Data Privacy and Ethics New
As an Assistant Manager in Data Privacy and Ethics, you will help clients understand and comply with data privacy laws such as GDPR, CCPA, and other regional data protection regulations. You will collaborate with clients to develop and implement comprehensive privacy programs, including privacy policies, consent mechanisms, data subject rights processes, and data breach response plans.
You will conduct Privacy Impact Assessments (PIAs) to identify and evaluate privacy risks associated with new projects, technologies, or processes, and recommend effective mitigation strategies. Your responsibilities include working with clients to map and classify their data based on sensitivity and regulatory requirements, as well as advising on ethical considerations surrounding data collection, usage, storage, and sharing.
You will develop and deliver privacy and ethics training programs to promote a culture of data privacy within organizations. You will champion the concept of Privacy by Design by embedding privacy controls into technologies and processes from early development stages. Managing data subject requests—including access, rectification, erasure, and restriction of processing—will be a key part of your role.
Staying current with evolving privacy and data protection regulations is essential, as you will provide guidance on compliance requirements and best practices. You will also build and maintain strong client relationships, serving as a trusted advisor on all privacy and ethics-related matters.
