SeniorAdministrator - Veritas NetBackup, Symantec Backup Exec

As a Senior Administrator for Support & Operations, you will deliver advanced technical support leveraging deep expertise in Symantec NetBackup and Symantec Backup Exec to resolve complex incidents and address technical and security challenges. You will conduct thorough root cause analysis for escalated incidents, ensuring timely resolution and effective stakeholder communication. The role involves managing and updating the knowledge base with documented technical solutions, while also training and mentoring junior analysts to build overall team capability. You will resolve complex support tickets within agreed SLAs, collaborating with cross-functional support teams to maintain security posture and operational integrity. A key focus is enhancing the customer experience through first call resolution and proactively addressing potential security threats. Familiarity with EMC Data Domain systems and relevant certifications such as Symantec Certified Specialist (SCS) are advantageous.
